Roadrunners tie for tenth in Orange County Invitational
Kearney leads UTSA scoring
(Winter Garden FL 3/5/06) The UTSA Roadrunners men’s golf team finished tied for 10th today with 290+300+293=883 (19 over par). Lamar University won the event with 271+279+283=833 for a 31-under-par score. They had two players tied for the medal honors, Andrew Landry and Justin Harding with 208 for three rounds. Landry had low score for the tournament with a 67 on day one.

Kearney had a 4.33 averae on the par 5's as one bright spot for UTSA. The Roadrunners were #4 in the tourney in birdies (46) as a team and #4 in scoring on par fives with a 4.50 average.

However, they were last in number of pars made over the three rounds.
The tourney was held at the Orange County National Invitational on in Winter Garden, Fla. Xavier will hosted the event at the Crooked Cat Golf Course, set up as a par 72 with a yardage of 7,277.
