To Whom It May Concern:

I am pleased to write this letter endorsing Chris Donielson’s ChipIn Club for supporters of the UTSA golf team.

The “offer”: You’re guaranteed to score a round in the 70s within the year or receive a free driver of your choice.  The “ChipIn Club Challenge” was an offer I couldn’t refuse!

I am a 22 handicapper and consistently shoot in the high 90s, low 100s.  Although numerous golf instructors have coached me over the years, I have seen very little improvement in my game and score.  My first lesson with Chris was almost four months ago, and I can’t believe my progress! Chris is a first class coach who is genuinely motivated to ensure you are having fun while improving your game. His approach to teaching/coaching is highly innovative and successful no matter what your current skill level.

I thought Chris would be bored watching me hook, duff, slice and miss shots over and over, but he correctly identified my weaknesses, then responded to them by devising drills which allowed me to successfully overcome these challenges. Chris is patient, very knowledgeable and will work with you until you can’t swing a golf club anymore – he is that dedicated to your success. He offers simple ways to help you improve your game and his positive attitude instils confidence.

After a few lessons, Chris invited me to play with a couple of his freshman on the UTSA golf team. I was a little apprehensive, but decided it would be fun to watch a couple of young, up-and-coming golfers hit the ball around the course. Nick Olivarri and Shane Costelloe proved to be gracious and fun golf partners, who provided me with additional helpful tips and strategies.  Simply watching the way they manage their game around the course afforded me additional and valuable insight into the game.  I hope to play with both of them again sometime soon.

I’ve had the opportunity to play in several Pro-Am tournaments over the years when the SBC Championship is played in San Antonio.  These events are a great deal of fun, but they have also proven very frustrating when I didn’t play well.  This year, Chris worked with me several times before the tournament, and offered to come out and help me if I had major problems during the event.  Needless to say, I played my best round of golf ever, and my team won the tournament!

If you are interested in improving your scores and you are looking for someone to spend quality time with you and work on all aspects of your game, then join the ChipIn Club. You really can’t lose!

Best Regards,
