Fall 2004: Recorded a 76.29 stroke average in three tournaments … tied for 30th at the Mean Green Classic, carding a nine-over 73-74-78—225 while competing as an individual … turned in a 74-78-78—230 to tie for 42nd at the Kansas Invitational, helping UTSA to a third-place finish … tied for 66th with a 79 at the rain-shortened SMU Invitational, helping the Roadrunners tie for third place.

As a freshman (2003-04): Posted a 76.33 stroke average for the spring … saw action in two spring tournaments … tied for 22nd as an individual at the Roadrunner Intercollegiate, firing rounds of 76, 68 and 78 for a nine-over 222 … the three-under 68 was a season low … tied for 58th at the Lindsey Collegiate in Bryant, Ark., with a 80-74-82—236 … competed in two fall events … posted rounds of 76, 77 and 75 at the Del Walker Collegiate to tie for 63rd … finished 31st as an individual at the Crown Colony Classic, turning in a 231 (74-75-82) … averaged 76.50 strokes per round in the fall.

Prior to UTSA: A four-year letterwinner with a stroke average of 73.0 … earned all-district, all-region, all-state and all-metro honors and was named team MVP at Class 5A Mandeville … runner-up at the district and Region IV tournaments and fourth at the Louisiana Class 5A State Tournament ... named to the Hershey’s All-American Junior Golf Team after shooting one-under-par at the tournament … captured one North Texas Junior PGA tournament title and was a four-time runner-up in the NTPGA … lettered one season on the Mandeville basketball team.

Personal: Born Jan. 3, 1985, in Corpus Christi, Texas … is one of four children of Donald “Skip” and Julie Martin … a biology major … favorite actress is Kate Beckinsale … if he could have dinner with anyone, it would be Phil Mickelson … has always wanted to play in the World Series of Poker … shooting a 66 with all his family and friends watching has been the greatest day of his life so far.
