As a sophomore (2003-04): Earned thirds-team All-Southland Conference honors … posted a 73.50 stroke average for the season, second-best on the team … tied for 19th at the Roadrunner Intercollegiate with rounds of 74, 72 and 75, helping UTSA to a third-place finish … carded a seven-over 74-73-76—223 to tie for 20th at the Southland Conference Championships … posted a 75.20 stroke average for the spring, third-best on the squad … won the Crown Colony Classic in the fall, his first collegiate win, on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff … helped lead the Roadrunners to their second team title of the fall at the tournament … finished third at the Air Force Falcon Invitational with rounds of 72, 68, 74 to help UTSA win the team crown … carded three consecutive rounds of 69 to finish third at the Nestle/Purina Classic in St. Charles, Mo. … ended the fall with a 71.80 stroke average, third-best in the conference.

As a freshman (2002-03): Emerged as one of the top young golfers in the nation after a third-place finish in the 2003 Southland Conference Golf Championships … shot course record 65 at the 7,003-yard, par-71 Canebrake Golf Club … had 75.52 stroke average as a freshman … best part of game is mental toughness and putting … consistently long off the tee, averaging approximately 290 yards per drive … recorded three top-30 finishes during his freshman season … led the San Antonio City Championship for three rounds before finishing third after a final round of 73 … fired a 68 to lead the opening round of the U.S. Amateur Qualifier in July.

Prior to UTSA: Elizondo earned all-state, all-region and all-district honors as a senior at Brackenridge with a stroke average of 72.1 … won five of six tournaments during the spring season and finished in a tie for second place at the UIL Class 5A State Golf Tournament with a 36-hole total of 141, one stroke behind Jeff Bell of Plano West … was a member of a U.S. Junior Golf squad chosen to compete against players from Germany, Italy and Austria … named the San Antonio Junior Golf Association Player of the Year in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and was the leading scorer all three years … a late-bloomer, did not pick up golf clubs until he was 13 years old … named a National Scholar-Athlete by the Army Reserves after compiling a 98.5 GPA … finished in the top two percent of his graduating class and was a member of the National Latin Honor Society, Physics Club and Statistics Club … as a junior, Elizondo earned 5A all-state honors and was named a National High School Coaches Association All-American after recording a 71.9 stroke average.
